Our facility features a supportive environment with 10 spacious, private Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum (LDRP) rooms, 2 antepartum rooms, and a dedicated OR suite. This is an exciting opportunity for nurses who are passionate about maternal and newborn care. Key Responsibilities: - Provide comprehensive nursing care to mothers and newborns during the labor, delivery, and postpartum phases.- Maintain a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:1 during laboring and 1:3 for couplets.- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.- Administer medications and IV therapy as required.- Support skin-to-skin contact immediately after birth and through the postpartum period.- Educate patients and families about prenatal, labor, and postpartum care. Requirements: - Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NRP; FHM certification preferred.- Strong IV skills and experience with C-sections, as circulating is required.- Ability to work shifts from 6 PM to 6 AM (12-hour shifts), including every third weekend and designated holidays.- Commitment to teamwork and high-quality, patient-centered care.- Familiarity with EPIC charting system preferred. Unit Highlights: - Average of 50 births per month (600 per year).- A commitment to a family-centered approach where newborns remain with their mothers.- Recognized as a 'Safe Sleep Champion' by the Department of Health & Human Services (DHHS) for excellence in practice.
