GENERAL FUNCTION:
Provide leadership in the pitching and execution of M&A and Strategic Advisory engagements, supporting the IB's Senior Managing Director in managing Associates and Analysts. Ensure proper resource allocation across projects and high-priority attention. Play a key role in developing the group's modeling and analytical capabilities, creating high-quality analysis and materials. Lead the creation of pitch materials, financial models, CIMs, and maintain client and buyer contact. Risk Management:
Responsible for risk by sharing ideas, raising concerns, and following policies. Always prioritize customer and colleague interests, ensuring positive experiences. Identify, assess, manage, monitor, and report risks within the bank's risk appetite. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Evaluate complex financial models and perform financial analysis. Create impactful presentation materials using PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and other software. Work effectively in a high-stress team environment. Develop relationships within Capital Markets and the broader organization. Manage multiple high-priority opportunities simultaneously. Apply strong credit and corporate finance knowledge to IB projects. Support Managing Directors and contribute to internal and external IB presentations. Interact independently with key stakeholders during M&A and Strategic Advisory projects. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supervise daily activities of IB Associates and Analysts. Provide performance feedback, support career development, identify talent, and recognize achievements. MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS REQUIRED:
7-10 years of experience in Banking, Investment Banking, or Capital Markets. Strong corporate finance and credit skills. Proven success in originating and closing complex financial transactions. Excellent presentation and relationship-building skills. Ability to interact effectively with senior executives. Expertise in one or more industries. Bachelor's in Finance, Accounting, or Economics; MBA preferred. Securities licenses: Series 79 and 63, and SIE certification.
