This position reports to Sales Manager. Your Role And Responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to be responsible for the sales of products/systems/services within a designated market/division, in line with the division strategy. Each day, you will achieve both qualitative and quantitative sales targets to ensure sustainable order growth, revenues, profitability, market share, and customer satisfaction. You will also showcase your expertise by identifying and developing new sales opportunities. The work model for the role is remote in the North Central Region but the preferred living locations are Chicago, Denver, Minneapolis and Columbus. This role is contributing to the Critical Power Protection Business in the North Central Region. You will be mainly accountable for: Drive Regional Sales Strategy: Lead the development and execution of strategies to secure profitable orders for UPS systems, STS, and PDUs, ensuring alignment with ABB's annual goals and risk review processes. Collaborate Across Channels: Work closely with ABB sales teams, Channel Sales Managers, VARs, and iReps to grow top-line revenue through direct end-user engagement and partnerships with contractors, distributors, and OEMs. Customer & Contract Management: Build strategic relationships with key decision-makers, support complex contract negotiations, and serve as the voice of the customer to promote a customer-centric approach. Forecasting & Communication: Own order accuracy and forecasting, and provide clear communication on ABB priorities, product roadmaps, and business updates to internal teams and channel partners. Qualifications For The Role

Educational & Industry Background: Bachelor's degree in engineering or advanced business degree preferred but not mandatory; candidates with relevant industry experience in data centers, critical power, or power quality will also be considered. Sales & Channel Expertise: Minimum 5 years of successful sales experience (experience working with third-party channel partners, consultants, contractors, distributors, and end users, with a strong understanding of the regional customer base preferred). Skills & Competencies: Proactive self-starter with strong attention to detail, interpersonal skills, and results orientation; excellent written and verbal communication skills across all business levels. Technical & Travel Readiness: Solid knowledge of the electrical power industry, proficiency in Microsoft Office and Salesforce.com, and willingness to travel regularly. Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
