The Data Platform Business Director will serve as the Business Owner of the bank's enterprise data platforms, including data warehouses and the data lake. This leadership role carries end-to-end accountability for the strategic direction, operational oversight, and data quality of these platforms, ensuring they effectively support risk, regulatory, and business intelligence needs. Key Responsibilities

Strategic Ownership: Define and drive the long-term vision and roadmap for the bank's data platforms, aligning with enterprise data strategy and regulatory expectations. Operational Oversight: Lead the day-to-day operations of the data warehouse and data lake environments, ensuring performance, scalability, and resilience. Data Quality & Controls: Oversee the implementation and continuous improvement of data quality controls, including profiling, monitoring, and remediation processes to ensure data is trusted, accurate, and fit-for-purpose. Governance & Compliance: Ensure adherence to data governance policies and regulatory requirements, particularly in support of risk and financial crimes compliance (FCC), AML, and KYC reporting. Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of at least five professionals, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement. Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with technology, risk, compliance, and business stakeholders to ensure platform capabilities meet evolving needs. Qualifications

Proven experience in data platform management, data governance, or enterprise data architecture within financial services. Strong understanding of data quality frameworks, regulatory reporting requirements, and risk data aggregation principles. Demonstrated leadership experience, including managing high-performing teams. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Familiarity with modern data technologies and cloud-based data platforms is a plus. The typical base pay range for this role is between $173K - $216K depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and location. This role may also be eligible for certain discretionary performance-based bonus and/or incentive compensation.
