The role you will contribute: The Director of Consumer And Brand System Operations leads the advancement of the Consumer Focused Connected Network and Marketing and Influential Brand agenda by championing the consumer operating model while performing the function of Chief of Staff for the SVP, Chief Brand and Consumer Officer. Is responsible for developing and leading comprehensive methods to direct the execution of multiple and interrelated program, activities and consumer and brand initiatives required for the achievement of AdventHealth. This role is accountable for system wide program oversight, prioritized escalation, timeline visibility and knowledge transfer. Oversees the establishment and ongoing leadership of project management processes and tools across the entire consumer, brand, and marketing functions in alignment with the Strategy and Transformation Office. This involves consistent project meeting routines, governance structures, processes for risk and issue escalation, decision making, task management and status updates to ensure performance consistency with goals, objectives, outcomes, measurements, and metrics to further advance the consumer initiatives. Works directly with the SVP of Brand and Consumer and directly and independently leads project and operational managers in each consumer and brand workstream to develop operational processes as aligned to the V2030 and Strategic Framework. This role is cross-functional as it works closely with workstreams across the consumer and brand scope and interfaces with executives and consumer and marketing leaders across corporate and the markets across the organization. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all. The value you will bring to the team: Leads the development of system marketing and consumer operation processes for strategic initiatives and critical projects by structuring complex activities into phased workstreams and identifying and assigning deliverables. Direct team to use appropriate governance cadence and successful initiative tracking system to ensure project goals and objectives are achieved within the project scope and timeframe established. Serve as an advisor to leaders and project managers across the consumer and marketing teams for processes and best practices; Challenges, leveraging positive relationships to influence, the adoption of new processes. Independently manages team of project and operational managers across system-wide brand and consumer teams to ensure effective and efficient tracking and execution of strategies. Coaches, mentors and leads team in daily operations of assigned areas. Lead team to ensure effective internal bi-directional communication strategies to drive alignment across all components of the operating model, ensuring the planning, development, and execution of team communications reinforce a positive image, support change management needs, and are clear, disseminated in a timely manner, and consider all audiences/levels in the market to address unique needs. Align with SVP in development, management and execution of the SVPs agenda and strategy and leadership of departments and initiatives. This includes partnership with internal and external entities. Responsible for managing SVPs departmental budgets. Serves as chief of staff to build continuity across SVPs departments, orchestrate the creation of presentations/publications, and oversees senior executive and other leaderships meeting agendas to ensure topics are brought for review in alignment with timelines and follow up activities are executed appropriately. Leads strategy process and activities, serving as the Aspiration Strategy Partner to the Strategy and Transformation Office for the Consumer Focused Connected Network and Influential Brand aspirations. Maintains visibility into all projects across the consumer and brand scope so SVP/VPs can evaluate and execute rapid decision making on strategic initiatives; Develop an overall project view focused on critical priorities to help move projects along and mitigate issues whenever appropriate. Drive strategy and oversee execution of the successful orientation and onboarding of newly hired/promoted VPs or other workstream leaders in support of SVP. Partner and engage with marketing, communications and consumer executives and leadership; Partnering with key leaders across operating model to provide solutions, foster collaboration, and build relationships to thoroughly understand and meet needs and objectives and to create plans specific to the needs identified, provide updates on results and adjusts strategy and communications approach as necessary. Recommend actions and exercises discretion regarding key business processes; Shows initiative and acts independently to resolve problems, manage multiple priorities, and follow through on projects/tasks to completion. Oversees and establishes process to identify and resolve the most complex issues and problems impacting the organizations Consumer Focused Connected Network and Influential Brand aspirations. Carry out tasks as assigned by SVP; Shows flexibility and tolerance for ambiguity and varying priorities The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed: Bachelor's in related field of study. 5 years of related experience in one or more of the areas of project management, communications, brand, marketing, or corporate relations, or organizational change management. Possesses strong skills in the area of organization, prioritization, and managing multiple priorities within tight deadlines; Ability to complete large amounts of work effectively and efficiently Demonstrated superior matrix management and partnering skills; Ability to thrive in a dynamic hands-on environment that requires a consultative approach and solutions that span multiple business units Ability to understand, explain, and suggest interrelationships between business and technology strategies; Ability to learn and use strong business acumen to support strategic alignment of initiatives Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships; Ability to quickly build relationships and diplomatically negotiate common approach; Ability to interact with all levels of management; Ability to work collaboratively and individually to achieve stated goals Ability to design, structure, implement and oversee multiple projects and teams simultaneously and effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and external parties, including executives, employees, physicians and consumers.
