Position Summary
The Valet will provide prompt and courteous valet parking service to all hotel guests and assist doorperson as needed. This position reports to the Guest Services Manager. Job Posting Deadline
Applications for this position will be accepted until August 17, 2025 Essential Job Functions/Key Job Responsibilities
Park and deliver vehicles to and from the garage basement promptly, efficiently, and safely
Drive in a safe and responsible manner at all time
Responsible for returning the guest vehicle in the same condition as it was left, i.e. seats, radio and mirrors in the same position
Responsible for locking the car and returning the keys with properly marked tags to lock the box.
Cars that cannot be locked properly should be noted on the valet ticket
Responsible for completing tickets according to protocol, including inspecting the outside of the car and writing down any obvious damage
Report damages to a guest's car immediately to the Guest Services Manager or Manager on Duty, completing incident reports immediately
Assist guests with vehicle problems or direct them to the concierge for assistance
Keep valet area clean and orderly at all times
Assist at the front door at the doorperson's request
Assist with the collection of monies for hourly parking
Reconciliation of vehicles for overnight parking
Other duties as assigned Qualifications
Education & Experience Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent
Current Colorado Driver's License, with no violations Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Familiarity with hotel fire and safety procedures
Familiar with hotel services, hours of operation
Knowledge of daily functions, locations and times to assist guests with inquiries
Excellent communication & guest relations skills
Excellent time management skills
Ability to comply with all policies and procedures for the Rooms Division, The Little Nell and Aspen One
Ability to assist in emergency and security procedures as directed by management
Ability to complete tasks and projects delegated by your manager and assist other departments as business volumes and staff levels demand
Ability to be a team player
Ability to drive a stick shift car Additional Information
Work Environment & Physical Demands
Ability to reach, crouch, kneel, see, hear, sit, drive a shuttle/car for extended periods of time; squat, kneel and bend
Regularly work/drive in adverse weather conditions. Frequently drive in bright sunlight and at night. Exposure to noises that cause distraction and may be required to walk on slippery and uneven surfaces
Must be able to frequently lift, push or pull up to 50 lbs. individually or with assistance (weight limits can vary according to position, but no more than 50) Job Benefits
