Bookkeeper Opportunity
We are looking for a meticulous and organized Bookkeeper to join our team on a contract to hire basis. In this role, you will be responsible for managing financial records, processing payroll, and performing essential bookkeeping tasks. Responsibilities: Process payroll for a small team of employees using Paychex, ensuring accuracy and resolving discrepancies promptly. Maintain and update financial records within QuickBooks and other accounting software systems. Conduct thorough balance sheet reconciliations, identifying and rectifying discrepancies as needed. Manage tenant charges and billbacks, including preparation and reconciliation of common area maintenance (CAM) statements. Address tenant inquiries related to billing and ensure timely resolution of issues. Record daily financial transactions and oversee accounts payable and receivable processes. Assist with month-end and year-end financial closing tasks and reporting. Generate financial reports to support budgeting and forecasting efforts. Ensure compliance with accounting standards and maintain detailed records for audits. Requirements: Proven experience in bookkeeping and payroll processing. Proficiency in QuickBooks and other accounting software systems. Strong skills in account reconciliation and financial reporting. Knowledge of accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes. Familiarity with Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting. Ability to manage month-end close and year-end financial tasks. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Strong communication skills to address tenant inquiries and resolve billing issues.
