Job Opportunity: Tube Mill Operator
Wood Personnel Services is currently seeking experienced tube mill operators for a client in Centerville, TN. Tube mill operators will be responsible for setting up and running tube mill recut, chamfering, and heat treat machines. Relocation assistance available for qualified candidates. Benefits: Health, Dental, & Vision insurance 401K Tube Mill Operator Associate Compensation & Hours $20 - $40 per hour depending on experience 2nd Shift Tube Mill Operator Skills & Qualifications Ability to perform repetitive movement of hands and arms Standing and walking for prolonged periods of time in a non-climate controlled environment Demonstrate the ability to learn and consistently follow written and oral instructions Comply with all safety requirements Must be able to work all required overtime, including weekends Welding experience required for some positions Mechanical knowledge required Experience with measurement tools such as calipers and micrometers Ability to read part drawings, work instructions, HMI, and manuals Tube Mill Operator Responsibilities Adhere to all health and safety rules, including wearing proper PPE at all times Perform quality checks of steel tubes Set up machines to start production cycle Control and adjust machine settings Feed raw materials or parts to semi-automated machines Inspect steel tubes with precision and measuring tools Print tags of good tubes produced Other duties as assigned by supervisor
