The Front End Manager, reporting to the Store Manager/ASM, is directly responsible for all aspects of the administrative and clerical store operations. The Front End Manager works closely with the store management team and Store Support Center to ensure and maintain accurate payroll and human resource reporting. Responsibilities include managing the front end, including POS registers/cashiers, service desk/associates, layaway, cash office functions, front end cleanliness, organization, and detailed standards. They ensure line control efficiencies to provide a fast and friendly checkout experience for customers. All reports are reviewed daily, and any issues are immediately addressed with the Store Manager and Loss Prevention. The Front End Manager is also accountable for ensuring all company policies and procedures are followed, understood, and executed by team members. They focus on improving front end efficiencies by hiring high-energy team members with the right skill set and attitude, and handle all customer issues to ensure an excellent shopping experience. The role requires the ability to work varied hours/days, including nights, weekends, and holidays, to meet business needs. Key skills and requirements include: Effective communication skills for interacting with customers and team members, and understanding company policies, training materials, and directives. Basic math skills for operating registers, making change, and conducting inventory. Physical ability to lift up to 40 lbs, occasionally up to 70 lbs, and perform tasks involving walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, and repetitive lifting, with or without reasonable accommodation.
