The Administrative Program Coordinator supports the faculty and staff members of the Church Based Health Intervention to Eliminate Racial Inequalities in Cardiovascular Health (CHERISH) to manage administrative and program aspects of study activities. This position oversees the daily administrative operations of the CHERISH Study, which include but are not limited to hiring and training of staff; organizing and hosting partner meetings and engagements; developing newsletters and meeting reports; maintaining and updating the study website; scheduling, coordination and facilitation of study partners and activities; coordinating conference calls; and supporting investigators interviews and travel management. Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Proficient data entry and keyboarding skills. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software including Word and Excel. Strong communication, management, and analysis skills to enhance operations productivity and efficiency. Ability to demonstrate initiative and organize activities. Ability to prioritize and work with multiple projects simultaneously. Ability to work successfully and independently under deadline requirements. Ability to work as part of a professional team and to collaborate effectively with individuals within the University as well as with outside partners. Interpersonal skills to work with faculty, staff, and students. Demonstrated problem solving and decision-making abilities. Ability to work autonomously when needed, but functions well in a team. Excellent discretion, judgment, attention to detail, and initiative. Demonstrated ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse communities and cultures. Strong oral and written communication skills. Required Education and/or Experience
High School Diploma (or Equivalent) with 6 years of related experience. Compensation Information
