Description
United's Digital Technology team is comprised of many talented individuals all working together with cutting-edge technology to build the best airline in the history of aviation. Our team designs, develops and maintains massively scaling technology solutions brought to life with innovative architectures, data analytics, and digital solutions. Job overview and responsibilities Identify and communicate risks and mitigation plans in collaboration with stakeholders along with standard project management duties Establish collaborative partnerships with key stakeholders and build trust to ensure leadership buy-in across both Business and IT Partner in organizational road-mapping and structuring to drive greater adoption and project delivery success Produce status reports and roadmaps as required by team leadership as well as progress reports (including the writing of release notes) for weekly management meetings Manage product backlog and sprint boards and ensure items are prioritized and sprint ready Oversee the delivery of detailed business requirements in working with other Business Analysts and service teams Work closely with the business analysts to groom stories in coordination with the external partner to ensure proper work item allocation and time management Use all aspects of Azure DevOps (ADO) to manage the project boards, backlogs, sprints, and delivery plans to create efficiency for your team and their daily activities Help build an environment where continuous deployment/ improvement of the development process is the focus and everyone's common goal is to deliver outstanding software as fast as possible to our customers Qualifications
What’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications): Bachelor's degree Strong written and oral communication skills to appropriate levels within the sponsoring business areas Team Player: working well in a collaborative setting. Acts as a resource to colleagues with less experience Exceptional organizational skills to manage ADO boards and coordinate activities across all teams Self-starter that is able to take the initiative to ensure proper team engagement and responsiveness Ability to communicate to stakeholders of all levels: external partners, development/BA teams, and leadership Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification What will help you propel from the pack (Preferred Qualifications): Scrum Master certification Knowledge of airline systems 3+ years of experience in a scrum master / project manager capacity Experience working with high-volume applications Experience collaborating with offshore teams across time zones
The base pay range for this role is $79,800.00 to $103,966.00. The base salary range/hourly rate listed is dependent on job-related, factors such as experience, education, and skills. This position is also eligible for bonus and/or long-term incentive compensation awards.
