Overview:
The client's team is seeking a
Research Operations Contractor
to support our mission of delivering best-in-class insights that fuel marketing, advertising, and brand-building strategies. This role will focus on building the infrastructure, standards, and processes that enable efficiency, consistency, accuracy, and impact across our research efforts.
What You'll Do:
Standards Documentation Identify and codify
research and survey standards
that support consistent and meaningful insights. Develop documentation for: Target Audience Definitions & Required Questions Brand 'Remember' Metrics & Required Questions Core Survey Questions
Template Development Create team artifacts and templates that standardize our approach, including: Research briefs Advertising research/measurement plans Ad-hoc deliverable standards LINK Research "Objectives Meeting" templates Google Slides templates for internal and external use New vendor/tool evaluation rubrics
Process Development & Documentation Create documentation aligned with key steps in the
research process and project lifecycle , including: Budget management Research project close-out
Design a clear, scalable process for organizing
Google Drive team files
and shared assets.
Program Management & Enablement Build and manage a
primary calendar of workstreams
across initiatives. Identify task leads, dependencies, and deadlines to maintain clear visibility and forward momentum. Collaborate closely with cross-functional partners across Brand and Lines of Business (LOBs).
Who You Are: A systems thinker who is energized by building structure from complexity. Comfortable balancing creativity with operational rigor. Passionate about enabling teams to deliver high-impact, evidence-based marketing. Proactive communicator and organized collaborator.
Qualifications At least 5 years of experience in project management or operations At least 1 year of experience in a market research operations or insights project management role Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Sociology, Psychology, or Behavioral Economics Advanced degree (MBA or MS) in marketing, consumer psychology, or related fields Solid understanding of market research workflows and tools Experience developing research standards, templates, and knowledge management systems 3+ years experience in a client-side market research function
