Description of Work
The University of Nebraska-Lincoln's Budget Office seeks Budget Data Analyst in Lincoln, NE.
The Budget Data Analyst will serve as a budget data expert for the campus in order to support the Budget Office and various other campus data sources to manage the data pipeline from the campus into the budget model. More specific duties include: maintaining model structure mapping to include the details of model ownership, cost pool balancing, and state-aided model distribution; balancing model data to include mapping of cost objects, accounts, changes in cost object structures, changes in financial postings, and balancing of institutional revenue; maintaining model or software files in the integrated data warehouse; developing and reporting of standardized institutional analytics and meaningful on-demand reports; collaborating with campus data owners on current and future system integration mapping, including routine testing and maintenance to ensure reliable output of model data; designing and maintenance of reference guides, data dictionary entries, logic guides and training/educational materials and web page resources; and other duties as assigned.

Minimum Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Finance, or related field (or foreign equivalent). Three (3) years of experience in the job offered or related positions in a University or Higher Education setting. Other special requirements include: three (3) years of experience in data reporting, including metrics, data analysis, and planning; three (3) years of experience in database design, maintenance, and relational database programming; and three (3) years of experience working with ERP management systems. Relational database programming, ERP financial system knowledge, good communication skills.

Business analytics/planning/reporting experience, SQL Programming experience
