Substitute Bus Drivers .
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES: - Operate a Dorchester County School Bus;
- Maintain regular paperwork associated with transporting students;
- Perform Pre and Post trip inspections of buses;
- Monitor student while bus is in transit;
- Maintain cleanliness of bus;
- Assist with transportation of bus to garage for service as needed;
- Attend necessary training classes;
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the Transportation Manager.
QUALIFICATIONS: - Graduation from a standard high school or possession of a State high school equivalence certificate;
- Must be currently certified as a Maryland School Bus Driver;
- Meet all Motor Vehicle Administration and State Department of Education requirements for school vehicle drivers;
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
