Position: C++ Architect Infosys is seeking a
C++ Architect . This position involves interfacing with key stakeholders and applying technical proficiency across various stages of the Software Development Life Cycle, including requirements gathering, application architecture, and design. The role includes creating high-level design artifacts, delivering quality code, leading validation and testing, and supporting activities related to implementation, transition, and warranty. We foster a culture of teamwork, collaboration, excellence, diversity, and learning.
Required Qualifications:
Candidate must be within commuting distance of Richardson, TX or Tampa, FL, or willing to relocate. Travel to project sites may be required.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from an accredited institution, or three years of progressive experience in lieu of education.
At least 7 years of IT experience.
Strong programming skills in C++ and database interactions using C++ or ProC.
Proficiency with Linux-based development.
Mandatory Technologies: C++, database interactions (ProC), Unix Shell, Python, Unix/Linux platform, Jira, Gitlab, Oracle, SQL.
Secondary Technologies: Socket programming (TCP/IP, UDP), Perl, Weblogic, Apache, Jenkins, Postgres.
Preferred Qualifications:
Multithreading, system tuning, performance optimization.
Knowledge of data structures, algorithms, memory management.
Experience in performance profiling, debugging, optimizing latency-sensitive applications, and code reviews.
Experience in Telecom/Networking domain is desirable.
Experience with messaging frameworks like Kafka is a plus.
Additional Information: The role involves extended periods working at a computer and communication via telephone, email, or face-to-face. Travel may be required.
