Job Description
Position Summary
The CDL Shuttle Driver is responsible for safely operating an Aspen Skiing Co. shuttle bus to transport employees and guests between locations throughout the four mountains and surrounding area. The direct supervisor of this position will vary depending on location.

Essential Job Functions/ Key Job Responsibilities
- Safely drive the shuttle over specified routes or to specific destinations in a timely manner while adhering to the posted schedule and local traffic regulations
- Greet and engage employees and guests offering information about the resort including snow conditions, grooming reports, trail maps and other activities
- Maintain the shuttle by sweeping floors, removing snow, cleaning windows, checking/refilling fluids, washing bus and emptying trash
- Notify supervisor of any mechanical problems
- Maintain daily ridership log and submit daily
- Assist guests with loading and unloading equipment
- Perform other duties as assigned
Education and Experience Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required
- 1 year experience in the customer service industry
- Valid CDL license with passenger endorsement required
- Prior experience driving a 14+ passenger shuttle preferred
- General knowledge of the resort and area
- Manages difficult or emotional customer situations; responds promptly to customer needs; solicits customer feedback to improve service; responds to requests for service and assistance; meets commitments
- Looks for ways to improve and promote quality; demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness
- Ability to communicate in English both verbal and written
- Follows policies and procedures; completes administrative tasks correctly and on time; supports organization's goals and values
- Approaches others in a tactful manner; reacts well under pressure; treats others with respect and consideration regardless of their status or position
- Observes safety and security procedures; reports potentially unsafe conditions; uses equipment and materials properly
Additional Information
Work environment and physical demands
Ability to reach, crouch, kneel, stand, bend or be on your feet for extended periods of time
Regularly work in wet, cold, hot conditions requiring the use of protective apparel/equipment to prevent exposure to the elements and may be required to walk on slippery and uneven surfaces
Must be able to frequency lift, push or pull up to 50 lbs. individually or with assistance
