Cornerstone Staffing is seeking for a CT Technologist with X-ray and DEXA experience for our client in a 3 month contract assignment . Our client is a growing provider organization with community-based ambulatory care commitment. Working alongside breakthrough radiology services offering compassion and integrity. Clinics and medical practices in Santa Clara County. Job Description: RIS and PACS systems Experience Prepares patients for radiologic and/or DEXA procedures . Procedures for patient care and safety, which involves setting up and operating radiographic equipment used in the medical diagnosis and/or treatment of patients and includes implementing infection control procedures for the work area. Adjusts devices to obtain optimum views of specified area of body requested by physician. Adjusts equipment controls to set exposure factors and produce images of proper detail, density, and accuracy Accurately provides patient studies for interpretation Participates in a daily processor quality control program to ensure consistency in imaging results Processes images and reviews for proper identification and quality control Checks X-rays for clarity of image, retaking when needed. Distributes X-rays to appropriate medical staff. Assists in maintaining analytical records which include but are not limited to EQUIP, physicist reports, radiologist licenses, radiologist and technologist educational units, and department protocols for State and Federal reviews REQUIREMENTS High School diploma or GED.
