Gurnick Academy of Medical Arts is a leading Bay Area private healthcare college offering an extensive variety of nursing and allied healthcare programs such as; Vocational Nurse, Diagnostic Medical Sonography (Ultrasound Technology), Radiologic Technology, MRI Technology, Medical Imaging, RN Nursing Program (RN to BSN Pathway) Psychiatric Technician, Phlebotomy Technician, Medical Assistant, Physical Therapist Assistant, Nurse Assistant and Dental Assistant.

We are currently seeking an Clerical Support Representative, Part-time for our Occupational Therapy Program at our San Jose, CA Campus. This is an on-ground position working at the San Jos Campus.

Basic Function

The Clerical Support position works with the Chair, Academic Fieldwork Coordinator, and faculty in providing clerical and administrative support. This role will interact directly with Students, Faculty, Admissions, and Student Services based on the needs of the Chair. The Clerical Support role will ultimately require the knowledge of the OT Department programs at the San Jose campus to best support the needs of the Chair, Academic Fieldwork Coordinator, and their Students.

Requirements:

• Minimum of an Associate Degree
• Organizational knowledge of educational institutions
• One year experience in similar position is preferable
• Prior demonstrated experience with Google Suite
• Excellent in communication (verbal, non-verbal, and written) and listening skills
• Speaks clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations.
• Writes clearly and informatively

Hourly Pay Range: $20.00 $25.00 per hour
