Base pay range
$120,000.00/yr - $170,000.00/yr Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Electrical Estimator to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for estimating costs and preparing detailed project bids for electrical construction projects. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring that our projects are competitively priced while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze project plans and specifications to prepare accurate cost estimates for electrical projects. Conduct site visits and engage with project stakeholders to gather necessary information for bid preparation. Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing. Prepare detailed bid proposals and cost breakdowns for review and submission. Collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure estimates align with project goals and budgets. Utilize estimating software tools, such as Accubid, to streamline the estimating process. Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and regulations affecting electrical construction projects.
Qualifications
Proven experience as an estimator in the electrical construction industry or similar. Strong knowledge of electrical systems and construction processes. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings. Proficiency in estimating software, such as Accubid, is a plus. Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and negotiation skills. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred.
