Position Overview:nWe are seeking a motivated Engineer to join our team and develop expertise in power connector applications and design. This role involves gaining hands-on experience in sand casting, foundry operations, and machine shop procedures, as well as providing technical support to customers and internal teams. The engineer will assist in product testing, cost estimation, catalog updates, and quality assurance initiatives.nKey Responsibilities:nnTechnical Support: Assist the Sales Department, Agents, and customers with technical inquiries and product recommendations.nProduct Development: Design and develop new and custom power connectors, ensuring compliance with industry standards.nCAD Design: Create 2D assembly drawings and 3D CAD models (AutoCAD & Autodesk Inventor preferred).nCost Estimation: Analyze new product designs and provide accurate cost estimates.nManufacturing Support: Learn and assist with foundry operations, sand casting, and machining processes.nQuality Assurance: Inspect products for adherence to specifications and support quality and safety programs.nTesting & Evaluation: Conduct mechanical and electrical tests on products, analyze results, and prepare reports.nPattern Design & Inspection: Oversee pattern designs, modifications, and repairs to enhance production efficiency.nDocumentation & Catalog Updates: Assist with maintaining technical documentation and promotional literature.nCustomer Site Visits: Travel as needed (domestic & international) for product support and customer interactions.nnQualifications:nnBachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.n0-2 years of relevant experience (entry-level candidates welcome).nProficiency in 2D & 3D CAD software (AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor preferred).nStrong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, Outlook).nDesire to obtain a Professional Engineer (P.E.) license.nExperience or knowledge in power engineering, power utilities, or power substations is a plus.nAbility to travel domestically and internationally as needed.nnWhy Join Us?nnBe part of an industry-leading power connector manufacturer.nGain hands-on experience in design, manufacturing, and testing.nWork in a collaborative and supportive environment.nCompetitive salary and benefits.nn?
