Role Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Event Coordinator to join our dynamic team. This position is ideal for an individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a passion for planning and executing successful events. As the Assistant Event Coordinator, you will support the planning and implementation of various events, including corporate meetings, conferences, social gatherings, and festivals.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in planning and executing events, including logistics, catering, and venue coordination.
Communicate with clients and vendors for updates and information.
Help manage event budgets, track expenses, and process invoices.
Coordinate scheduling of meetings and related appointments.
Support on-site event setup, execution, and teardown.
Assist in developing marketing materials and strategies for events.
Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise
Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Business, or related field (preferred).
1-2 years of experience in event planning or coordination.
Strong organizational skills for managing multiple projects.
Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with event management software is a plus.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
