Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented
Export Control Compliance Analyst (Contractor)
to lead and optimize export compliance operations. This role involves ensuring compliance with the Export Administration Regulations (EAR), managing classification processes, maintaining SOPs, tracking KPIs, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve processes and ensure regulatory adherence. Key Responsibilities: Interpret and apply EAR regulations, providing guidance to internal stakeholders. Develop, update, and maintain SOPs for export compliance. Monitor and analyze KPIs to evaluate program effectiveness and identify improvements. Manage ECCN classifications, ensuring documentation accuracy. Support assessments related to deemed exports, international travel, shipping, and foreign visitors. Deliver training and serve as a subject matter expert on export compliance. Collaborate with R&D, marketing, sales, and other units to ensure regulatory compliance of technology and products. Drive automation and continuous improvement initiatives within export compliance workflows. Qualifications: Bachelors or Associates degree in a related field. Experience in export compliance, ECCN classification, and regulatory operations. In-depth knowledge of EAR and U.S. export control regulations. Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and compliance tracking systems. Experience developing SOPs, managing KPIs, and implementing process improvements. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration. Self-motivated and adaptable to a fast-paced regulatory environment.
