GCP Knowledge : In-depth knowledge and experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services and tools, including GCP databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB), Data Flow, and related services. GKE + Google Data flow PostgreSQL Administration:
Strong knowledge and experience in administering PostgreSQL databases, including installation, configuration, performance tuning, and troubleshooting. MongoDB Administration:
Proficiency in administering MongoDB databases, including installation, configuration, and performance tuning. Data Flow:
Experience with Google Cloud Data Flow or Apache Beam for data processing and streaming.6. Database Security: Familiarity with database security best practices, including access controls, authentication mechanisms, and encryption. Database Monitoring and Performance Analysis: Proficiency in monitoring and analyzing database performance, identifying bottlenecks, and providing recommendations for optimization. Collaboration and Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with the ITSCo team, stakeholders, and other technical personnel. Documentation and Reporting : Ability to maintain detailed documentation of database configurations, changes, and troubleshooting procedures. Set up and configure read-only access to PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Data Flow databases for ITSCo team members, following security and access control guidelines. Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution: Investigate and resolve database-related issues, such as performance problems, data corruption, and system failures. Collaborate with the ITSCo team to troubleshoot and implement solutions effectively. Database Monitoring and Performance Analysis:
Monitor the performance of PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Data Flow databases, identify bottlenecks, and provide recommendations for optimization to ensure efficient database operations. Security Compliance:
Ensure that all access controls, authentication mechanisms, and encryption measures are properly implemented and maintained to protect the integrity and security of the databases. Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain detailed documentation of access configurations, changes, and troubleshooting procedures. Generate regular reports on database performance, issues, and resolutions.6.
