We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced
Project Manager
with a background in the electrical field to oversee and manage commercial and/or industrial construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will hold a
Journeyman Electrician License , have prior estimating experience, and possess at least
2+ years of project management experience
within the construction industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage electrical construction projects ensuring scope, schedule, and budget objectives are met Coordinate with clients, engineers, field crews, and subcontractors to ensure seamless project execution Prepare project documentation including estimates, budgets, schedules, RFIs, submittals, and change orders Perform job cost analysis and maintain financial oversight throughout project lifecycle Oversee procurement of materials and ensure delivery aligns with project timelines Manage project safety in collaboration with the safety team, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations Conduct site visits to monitor work progress and resolve any field issues Support estimating efforts for upcoming projects and contribute to bid proposals Review project plans, specifications, and electrical drawings for accuracy and completeness Qualifications:
Valid
Journeyman Electrician License Proven experience as a
Construction Estimator Minimum
2 years of experience
as a Project Manager in electrical or general construction Strong understanding of electrical systems, code compliance, and construction methods Proficiency with project management and estimating software (e.g., Conest
Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, Accubid, etc.) Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously Strong financial acumen and attention to detail Preferred Qualifications:
OSHA 30 certification Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Salary Range: $100-110k DOE plus commission
