Location: Washington, DC (2 days onsite, 3 days remote) Industry: Nonprofit / Operations & Project Coordination Pay: $23-26/hr Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM
5:00 PM (40 hours/week) Type: Contract through early 2026 Background Check: 7-year criminal screening (local, state, federal) About Our Client: Addison Group is partnering with a mission-driven nonprofit organization based in Washington, DC to support a strategic office relocation. This organization is committed to community impact and values structured, collaborative operations. The role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a high-visibility move project while working closely with senior leadership. Job Description: We are seeking a detail-oriented and adaptable Operations Coordinator to assist with the planning and execution of an office move scheduled for later this year. This role will play a vital part in organizing logistics, supporting leadership, and coordinating across internal teams and external vendors to ensure a seamless transition. This is a full-time contract position with the potential for extension. Key Responsibilities: Assist with managing a comprehensive office move plan, including checklists, timelines, and vendor coordination Track and update task progress using project management software (Asana or similar) Coordinate address updates and vendor communications Manage inventory, packing, and equipment setup at the new location Document and report on progress, issues, and task completion Provide on-site support as needed during key phases of the move Troubleshoot and assist with organizing post-move tasks Qualifications: 35 years of experience in operations, project coordination, or administrative support (nonprofit experience preferred) Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with task board platforms (Asana, Trello, Monday.com) Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities Excellent verbal and written communication skills Self-motivated, curious, and confident asking questions or suggesting improvements Comfortable with a hybrid work model and periodic in-office requirements Ability to lift and move boxes/equipment with reasonable accommodation Perks: Contribute to a meaningful nonprofit mission Work directly with senior leaders and project stakeholders Gain exposure to nonprofit operations and move planning Flexible hybrid work environment Collaborative and communicative workplace culture Addison Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
