3 days onsite) Industry: Nonprofit / Public Policy Pay: $2024/hour Contract Duration: Approximately 5 months (JuneNovember) Background Check: Required upon acceptance About Our Client: Addison Group is partnering with a highly respected nonprofit research institution that focuses on economics, public policy, and global development. This role offers early-career HR professionals the opportunity to support a high-level executive and gain exposure to meaningful organizational initiatives. Job Description: The Executive and HR Project Assistant/Coordinator will provide administrative and operational support to the Vice President & Chief Human Resources Officer and the broader HR team. This includes executive support, HR operations, project coordination, and assistance with learning and development logistics. The position requires professionalism, attention to detail, and strong communication skills. Key Responsibilities: Manage calendars, meeting coordination, and correspondence for the VP, CHRO Track and follow up on priority items and action tasks Organize materials for meetings and manage catering/logistics Assist with HR audits and digital resource organization Monitor HR inbox and route inquiries appropriately Support office operations, including supplies and technology needs Handle expense processing and ensure compliance with finance policies Coordinate internal training and DEI initiatives, including working with vendors Provide technical and administrative support across the HR team Qualifications: 12 years of entry-level HR or administrative experience (nonprofit or think tank background is a plus) Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Experience with scheduling tools and HRIS (Workday preferred) Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal High level of discretion when handling confidential information Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment Bachelor's degree preferred Perks: Excellent experience for HR career development Work with a well-regarded and mission-driven organization Exposure to senior leadership and cross-functional teams Opportunity to contribute to impactful HR initiatives and programs Addison Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
