Job Description:
Hadoop Functional/Automation Test Lead || Charlotte, NC / Plano, TX (Hybrid) || Fulltime
At least 5+ year of experience with Back-end systems/ETL_ Automation/Hadoop Testing/Kafka Kstream.
Strong experience with building Test Plans, Test Scripts, using any Test case Management Tool Octane/ALM/qTest.
Knowledge of Testing framework tools: Octane with JIRA, Litmus, and similar tools.
Strong knowledge on SQL with some knowledge of Python Scripting.
Ability to lead test planning for complex features that span across the platform or multiple teams.
Ability to create and optimize test processes including defect management and reporting.
Ability to create Test Automation Frameworks using any tool.
Familiar with Agile Process.
Participate in triaging reported issues/defects for automated solutions and assist with resolving or escalating them as necessary.
Manage test execution and assist with resolving, communicating or escalating any issues that may result in test plan variance.
Contribute to test data management approach, processes and tools.
Coordinate Conditioning of and generation of test data and ensure data compliance requirements are met on all levels of test environment. Assist in identifying and managing sensitive test data.

Create and manage traceability. Trace tests forwards/backwards through the development lifecycle and back to requirements.
Ensure alignment and sign off for test cases from business and other stakeholders.
Optimize test suites employing techniques such risk-based testing.
