Country Visions Cooperative Information Technology Network & System Administrator
Country Visions Cooperative is continuing to grow and is now searching for an experienced full-time IT Network and System Administrator for their Brillion location. This position will work with our other IT associates in serving the diverse needs of the cooperative. Based in Brillion, WI, you will occasionally travel to our locations to assist with new installations, project rollouts, and support of our operations. A balance of customer service orientation and technical acuity will be required as this will be as diverse a role as the business we support. Primary duties will be split between Networking, datacenter stack, and cloud with occasional support of end user escalations. The ideal candidate will have a strong desire to learn and grow their own skills while helping IT innovate, support, and advance the mission of the cooperative.

Job Responsibilities
Networking
Configure, deploy, monitor, and maintain ISP circuits, firewalls (Fortinet), VPNs, and SD-WAN connections. Support Layer 2/3 switching and routing, VLANs, QoS, and network segmentation. Implement and maintain network security including IDS/IPS, NAC, ZTNA, SIEM, and SOAR. Conduct regular security assessments, patching, firmware, and lifecycle upgrades for network equipment. Troubleshoot network bandwidth, latency, connectivity issues, and wireless coverage across multiple locations. Create and maintain accurate diagrams, documentation, and asset collections of networking equipment. Stay current with new technologies and be ready to propose and implement when appropriate.
Server and Storage Administration
Administer Windows Server and Active Directory including DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and file/print services. Install and maintain Linux systems, ensuring up-time, patching, configuration, and performance tuning. Manage VMware vSphere environments, including virtual machines, clusters, and vCenter. Maintain SAN/NAS storage systems, ensuring reliable backups, replication, and disaster recovery readiness. Provide support for Citrix environment by adding and tunning applications, troubleshooting, and upgrading. Monitor system health and implement performance optimization and automation where appropriate. Assist with licensing and compliance tracking to ensure requirements are met and risks are minimalized.
Cloud Infrastructure
Support and administer Microsoft 365, Azure AD, Intune, and related SaaS platforms. Implement cloud resource provisioning, security controls, and cost optimization strategies. Integrate on-prem and cloud-based authentication and identity systems (SSO, MFA, Conditional Access). Evaluate and deploy cloud-based infrastructure tools and services as needs evolve.
End User and Operational Support
Participate in the ticketing system by addressing infrastructure related service issues. Act as an escalation point for service desk incidents, including application, hardware, and connectivity issues. Provide security vendor management and display a broad understanding of security concepts. Assist with driving the security roadmap and provide insights and feedback on direction. Collaborate with departments to improve user workflows, processes, and service delivery. Maintain clear documentation on systems, procedures, and knowledgebase guides. Lead IT infrastructure project implementations while maintaining proper change management procedures. Assist with after-hours on-call situations.
Other Job Duties
Provide a consistently high level of customer service and satisfaction Clear communication and collaboration with both the IT team and all members of the cooperative Proper follow-up on open issues and ongoing projects Ability to successfully balance and prioritize several projects and issues 30-40% travel to Coop locations during normal work shift Other duties as assigned by manager
Qualifications And Educational Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent Must be at least 18 years of age Minimum of five (5) years in a Network or System-level role Minimum of seven (7) years in IT Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to maintain strict confidentiality Technical aptitude, love of technology, and willingness to learn Willingness and ability to travel within CVC’s location footprint Must possess a valid driver's license
Preferred Qualifications
IT-related bachelor’s degree is preferred but not required with the right work experience The following certifications are preferred but not required Fortinet (FCP) VMware Certified Professional (VCP-DCV) Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate CompTIA Server+ CompTIA Network+ CompTIA Security+ Seniority level
