Job Announcement: IT Program Manager (PM)
Location: Fort Rucker, AL
Clearance Required: Secret
Start Date: Contingent upon contract award
Summit Technologies Inc. is seeking a highly experienced Program Manager (PM) to lead and support a comprehensive IT services contract for the AVCOE G-6 , consolidating support across all AVCOE organizations under a single contract vehicle to achieve economies of scale. The scope includes eleven key areas of responsibility: customer service support (manned help desk), subordinate and external customer support, NIPR/SIPR video conferencing, system and data administration, productivity and collaboration tools, COOP planning, cybersecurity, logistics, project management, and compliance with DoD and Army IT regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, manage, and oversee the execution of contract tasks and deliverables across the program.
- Serve as the Contractors primary interface with the Contracting Officer (KO) and government stakeholders.
- Supervise and coordinate personnel activities to ensure mission success.
- Provide high-level briefings and reports to senior-ranking government officials.
- Ensure contract compliance and performance within scope, schedule, and cost.
- Submit CV for Government approval within 10 days of contract award.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 12+ years managing IT operations for the DoD.
- 7+ years managing government contracts.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; capable of developing and delivering presentations to senior government officials.
- Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Active Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
