Position Summary:
Vaughn & BCI is hiring a detail-oriented Food Sanitation Specialist to ensure the cleanliness and sanitation of the dining facility at Warner Robins Air Force Base . This role is critical in maintaining a safe, sanitary environment that supports food service operations in compliance with military standards and health regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and sanitize food preparation areas, equipment, and utensils
- Maintain cleanliness in dishwashing stations, dining areas, restrooms, and storage rooms
- Operate dishwashing machines and ensure proper chemical usage
- Remove trash and recycling, and maintain proper waste disposal procedures
- Assist in cleaning floors, walls, and other surfaces throughout the kitchen and facility
- Monitor sanitation supply inventory and alert supervisor when items need to be restocked
- Follow all safety protocols and wear required PPE at all times
- Comply with HACCP, food safety, and health department regulations
- Support kitchen staff as needed to ensure smooth operation of the dining facility
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Previous experience in sanitation, janitorial, or food service roles is a plus
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
- Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Must be able to pass background check for military base access

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred
