As a Junior Automation Developer at Kitsap Credit Union, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our efforts of identifying, designing, and implementing automation solutions that streamline our financial processes, improve accuracy, reduce costs, and enhance the overall member experience. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze business processes, deploy automation (RPA) solutions, orchestrate implemented processes, and help maintain the automation portfolio to achieve measurable business outcomes. Quick Facts Reports to: Senior Operations Analyst Employment Type: Full-time, exempt, hybrid Salary Range: $77,968.80 - $79,024.00 depending on experience Working Hours: Monday - Friday 9AM - 5PM Grade: 9BC Industry: Banking Principal Responsibilities Analyze and Understand Business Processes: Work closely with business analysts and stakeholders to understand the requirements and objectives of the processes to be automated. Design and Develop Automation Solutions: Assist in creating automation scripts using RPA UiPath. Testing and Debugging: Participate in testing the automated processes to ensure they function correctly and efficiently. Identify and resolve any issues or errors. Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of the automation processes, including design documents, test plans, and user guides. Integration: Help integrate RPA solutions with existing applications and databases to ensure seamless operation. Monitoring and Maintenance: Monitor the performance of automated processes and make necessary updates or improvements as required. Compliance: Ensure that all automated processes adhere to regulatory and compliance standards within the financial industry. Training: Provide support and training to end-users and other developers on how to use and manage RPA tools and systems. Required Skills and Abilities Technical Skills: Familiarity with RPA tools like UiPath, Blue Prism, or Automation Anywhere is a plus. You must get developer certification within 6 months of start date. Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to understand and address business process requirements. Solid understanding of financial processes and regulations. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with team members and stakeholders. Attention to Detail: High level of attention to detail.
