Forensic Accounting and Fraud Examiner Responsibilities: In this role, you will deploy to a disaster site to support the delivery of a disaster recovery program. The work will include supporting our team with your knowledge of accounting and financial practices, securities, banking laws and systems, conventional and nonconventional financial institutions, and for-profit/nonprofit businesses. Analysis of financial data. You will conduct and coordinate the examination of financial investigations or financial irregularities, providing detailed reports and exhibits of your work. You may testify as needed as a fact and/or expert witness in judicial proceedings. Required Skills & Required Experience
Required Skills and Experience: Must have BS in accounting, business administration, or related field from a U.S. accredited college or university or similar field is highly preferred. MS or MBA is preferred. A minimum of 10 years of combined experience in accounting, financial audits, and/or banking. Must have at least 5 years of experience working as a forensic accountant, fraud examiner, or related role. Professional certifications as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), Certified Financial Forensics (CFF) and/or Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), is highly preferred. Experience in assessing the scope and cost to restore disaster-related damages is preferred. Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must be proficient with MS Office Suite applications (Word, Excel and Outlook). Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record. Must be a U.S. citizen capable of passing a federal background investigation to obtain a Public Trust clearance. Program Information
