Don’t wait, apply now ! POSITION DUTIES: Assist project teams with technical issues in the Installation and planning phases of our standard project management. Travel to Bachman's locations when onsite support is required. Analyze system logs to identify potential issues with computer systems. Introduce and integrate new technologies into existing data center environments. Perform routine audits of systems and software. Perform and maintain regular backup protocol. Apply operating system updates, patches, and configuration changes. Install and configure new hardware and software. Add, remove, or update user account information, reset passwords, and login credentials, etc. Troubleshoot reported problems and independently research and answer technical queries. Function as part of the team responsible for security. Responsible for documenting and configuring the system. Ensure network infrastructure and systems are running at peak efficiency. On call rotation. Other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS: Associate's Degree in Computer Science or course work with relative work experience. Problem-solving- frequently under various sorts of time constraints and deadlines. The Jr. Systems Administrator must be able to respond when a computer system goes down or malfunctions, and must be able to quickly and correctly diagnose what is wrong and how best to fix. Must understand the behavior of software in order to deploy it, troubleshoot problems, and generally know several programming languages used for scripting for automation of routine tasks. Strong grasp of computer security. Must understand network architecture and take direction for business best practices and PCI compliance. Ability to support smart devices and wireless environments. Ability to quickly research, learn, document and implement new technologies and best practices.
