The system administrator plays a key role in overseeing and supporting a complex high-performance computing (HPC) environment. Responsibilities include designing, configuring, and maintaining hardware, software, networking, storage, and cluster operations. This person will support HPC workflows, enforces security practices, and ensures optimal performance, uptime, and reliability of all systems. This person will also manage user profiles, service accounts, and access permissions while applying system updates, patches, and necessary software installations.
