Senior Systems Administrator - Linux/Windows
to support a classified government program on-site in
Seattle, WA or El Segundo, CA
. The
Senior Systems Administrator
will be part of a mission-critical team supporting a disruptive computer network for the National Security Agency (NSA). This individual will play a key role in maintaining secure, high-performance computing environments across multiple sites, integrating embedded Linux systems, and ensuring compliance with national security standards.

Responsibilities for the Senior Systems Administrator
include: Administer and maintain Linux (RHEL) and Windows systems, including virtualized environments. Provide end-to-end IT support in secure lab environments, from desktops to servers. Implement secure system designs using best practices in software and systems engineering. Manage system access, patching, and release planning for hardware/software. Troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues; automate tasks using scripting (e.g., PowerShell). Support classified networks and ensure compliance with RMF/JSIG security standards. Integrate and maintain applications and infrastructure, including embedded Linux (VxWorks). Collaborate with engineering and security teams to support high-performance computing clusters. Qualifications for the Senior Systems Administrator
include:
9+ years of experience in lab/test, factory test, or similar environments. 9+ years of experience with Linux and/or Windows OS installation, configuration, and troubleshooting. 9+ years of hands-on experience with IT hardware, including switches, routers, HPC systems, and server racks. Experience with embedded Linux systems, particularly Wind River VxWorks. Security+ certification (or ability to obtain within 6 months). Strong scripting skills (e.g., PowerShell), and familiarity with VMware, Active Directory, and GPOs. Knowledge of RMF/JSIG compliance and secure system integration. Must be eligible to work in the United States obtain and maintain a TS/SCI with CI Poly. Compensation for the Senior Systems Administrator
include:
Salary Range: $140,000 - $200,000 *depending on experience* Comprehensive Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, PTO, Sick Leave if required by law, and Holidays
