Location: Remote – must work EST hours
Job Summary: Our banking client will starting a debit card processing conversion from its homegrown system to a new system. This role involves assisting senior developers with the API design, development, system integration for a mission-critical banking transformation.
Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with Senior API Designer to develop and enhance RESTful APIs using Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture.
Assist in the designand implementation of secure authentication mechanisms such as OAuth2, JWT, and enterprise SSO.
Help set upCI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD to automate code integration, testing, and deployment.
Developand maintainunit and integration test suites, and integrated static code analysis tools into the development lifecycle for code quality and technical standards.
Required Skills: 3-6 years of software development experience including Java 17+and Spring Boot 3.x Database experience with SQL Experience with DevOpsand Deployment tools (Docker OR Kubernetes, Jenkins, GitHub) Expertise using Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar
Nice-to-Have: Banking integration experience (Payments/Cards, Fiserv preferred)
