National Mortgage Recruiter JOB SUMMARY:
The National Mortgage Recruiter will spearhead our efforts in sourcing, attracting, and hiring high-caliber mortgage talent, including Loan Originators and Sales Leaders. This role entails crafting and executing recruiting strategies that resonating with aggressive growth targets while upholding a culture of excellence and assisting in the retention of high performing teams.
National Mortgage Recruiter ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (RESPONSIBILITIES):
* Designs and implements a national recruitment strategy that reflects Gateway's growth ambitions and values.
* Cultivates a robust pipeline of mortgage professionals through innovative outreach, networking, and relationship management.
* Leverages a mix of recruiting channels such as social media, job boards, referrals, industry events, and direct sourcing to engage potential candidates.
* Performs interviews and evaluations to ensure candidates not only meet performance and cultural fit standards.
* Partners with sales leadership team to tailor recruitment to specific regional and branch needs.
* Elevates Gateway's profile as the premier employer in the mortgage sector through targeted branding and recruitment initiatives.
* Monitors recruitment analytics to refine strategies, focusing on metrics like time-to-hire, source effectiveness, and candidate quality.
* Works with HR, Training, and Sales Support to ensure new hires integrate seamlessly into our team and culture.
* Performs coaching as needed with the goal of maintaining high quality teams.
* Maintains knowledge of industry developments, regulatory changes, and market trends to adapt our recruitment strategies proactively.
* Exercises awareness with regard to possible suspicious activity, money laundering or fraudulent behavior and reports any such incidents to the BSA department. Performs all job functions in compliance with all company policies and federal, state, and local laws and regulations as applicable to the position, including, but not limited to BSA/AML, OFAC and GLBA/privacy rules.
* Performs related responsibilities as required or assigned.
National Mortgage Recruiter REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities * Advanced knowledge of mortgage lending, sales processes, and compliance requirements. * Excellent communication skills to communicate with and convince talent. * Excellent Skills in using ATS, LinkedIn Recruiter, CRM, and other recruitment tech tools. * Ability to thrive under pressure. * Ability to pivot strategies as market conditions evolve. * Exemplifies the Gateway Values: Growth Oriented, Make a Difference, "Get it Done" Attitude, Team Player, and Do the Right Thing.
Equivalent Education/Experience * Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics or related work experience. * 7 years of experience in mortgage recruitment, ideally in a national or multi-state context. * Proven track record of achieving recruitment goals in a competitive environment.
