TS/SCI Network System Analyst Location:
ONSITE in San Antonio, Texas at JBSA-Lackland (approx. 15% travel as needed) Duration:
6-month contract-to-permanent Pay Rate:
$40-45/hour (depending on experience) Must-Haves: Bachelor's Degree in systems engineering, network engineering, computer science or a related technical field 5+ years of network support experience with the DoD Experience performing analysis to identify new and/or improving processes for network systems Day-to-Day: Insight Global is looking for a Network Systems Analyst in San Antonio to support the design, implementation, and maintenance of complex WAN infrastructures. Build, troubleshoot, and maintain multiple WAN interfaces connecting remote sites. Develop robust network solutions using DoD circuits (JIOR, DISA) and commercial technologies to establish new secure connections. Monitor bandwidth and network utilization; identify bottlenecks and implement solutions to optimize throughput and reliability. Provide advanced network support to local technicians at remote locations, resolving escalated issues efficiently. Create and maintain detailed and high-level network diagrams to support security audits, logistics planning, and approval processes. Ensure secure transmission of sensitive data across internal and external networks, adhering to DoD security protocols. Work closely with vendors, clients, carriers, and technical teams to implement, optimize, and manage network infrastructure. Deliver high-level support and guidance in networking technologies, including MPLS, VPN, GRE, and anonymous communication protocols like TOR. Establish and manage a network test facility and range to validate configurations and simulate real-world scenarios. IG Consultants:
While on contract, you will be an Insight Global employee working for a particular company/end client on W2. Pay Day:
You will be paid out each Friday and one week in arrears. This means you will receive payment for this weeks hours next Friday. Holidays/Time Off:
While a consultant through Insight Global, the hours you work are they hours you will be paid. We do not offer paid sick days, paid time off, or paid holidays, except as required by applicable law. Consultant Benefits:
