Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer to support a DoD program out of San Antonio, TX. The Senior Cloud Engineer will lead the design, deployment and optimization of Kubernetes-based environments on AWS. **This role is fully-on-site & requires a TS/SCI Clearance** Responsibilities of the Senior Cloud Engineer: Architect and maintain Kubernetes clusters on AWS to support containerized workloads Implement infrastructure as code and manage cloud resources with a focus on security and compliance Integrate CI/CD pipelines to streamline application delivery and lifecycle management Monitor system performance, resolve networking issues, and enforce security best practices Qualifications of the Senior Cloud Engineer: 6+ years of experience in AWS cloud engineering and DevOps Experience working with containerized platforms Strong Kubernetes experience Hands-on experience with Amazon EKS and supporting development/test environments Proficiency in scripting, CI/CD tools, and container orchestration Meets DoD IAT Level II Requirements: Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, AWS Certified SysOps Administrator, or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer Must have an Active TS/SCI Clearance Salary of the Senior Cloud Engineer: Salary: Between $150,000 - $170,000 **Commensurate of experience** Benefits: Full Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance, 401k, Paid Time Off (PTO), Paid Holidays, Sick leave as required by law This job opens for applications on07/25/2025.
