Hybrid Role - 3 days per week in Irving, TX
Power BI Developer/Analyst
We are searching for a experienced PowerBI developer with an ability to drive strategy as well as develop reports and dashboards.
Responsibilities:
8+ years of experience creating visual dashboards utilizing reporting tools.
Develop and migrate legacy MSTR reports to Power BI, including the design and implementation of interactive dashboards, tabular reports, and paginated (PDF-ready) outputs, leveraging strong hands-on development expertise.
Collaborate with developers to
build innovative, custom BI solutions , often requiring integration of Power BI with
Power Automate or other Microsoft 365 tools .
Drive
data integration
using Microsoft Fabric tools such as Data Factory, Pipelines, and Lakehouses; ensure alignment with Azure Synapse, Databricks, and Azure SQL platforms.
Qualifications:
8+ years of experience in Power BI development, including advanced DAX, Power Query, and data modeling.
Strong expertise in migrating enterprise reports from MicroStrategy to Power BI.
Experience working with large and complex datasets, including strategies for report optimization and overcoming Power BI export limitations.
Experience building workflows and automation solutions using Power Automate.
Proficient with Microsoft Fabric components (Data Factory, Pipelines, Lakehouses), Azure Synapse, Azure SQL, and Databricks.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with both technical teams and business stakeholders.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field preferred.
