Online Interview: Immediately Visit The Website virtual.jobfairgiant.net The Senior Electrified Component Project lead will be responsible for the activities related to Power Electronics components (i.e. inverters, converters and charging devices) designs and development. Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related degree field. 10+ years of experience in high voltage/high power/electric vehicle environments Power electronics/electrical models and simulation experience. 5+ years of Power Inverter/Traction Inverter development experience. Demonstrable familiarity of power electronics and devices. Understand engineering protocols, design specifications and standards. Understand component HW circuitry and failure modes. Good technical knowledge in applications engineering and product design/development (specifically within an automotive context). Good working level knowledge of DVP&R and DFMEA. Good analytical, problem-solving skills and methodology. Familiar with Power Electronics analysis and simulations tools. Highly motivated and self-starter. Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment. Ability to interface professionally with key customers, cross-functional teams and all levels of personnel/management. Strong verbal and written communication skills Able to manage multiple responsibilities, one's own time while being mindful of deadlines Must be task oriented, detail oriented, and accurate with work. Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree or Ph.D. of Science in Electrical Engineering or 15 + years of experience in high voltage/high power/electric vehicle environments Power electronics/electrical models and simulation experience. Power electronics specifications expertise in Electric motor and powertrain controls experience Printed Circuit Board (PCB) design and fabrication experience. Semi-conductor manufacturing knowledge.
