RTX BBN Technologies is seeking a proactive and motivated Contractor Program Security Officer to join our Special Programs security team in Arlington, VA. This role supports classified Department of Defense (DoD) and Intelligence Community (IC) programs through the application and enforcement of security policies, procedures, and standards in accordance with government requirements. The ideal candidate has foundational experience supporting SAP and/or SCI programs and is ready to take on increased responsibilities across personnel, physical, and information security domains. This is a hands-on position that involves daily interaction with internal program staff, government customers, and external stakeholders. What You Will Do Assist with the administration of SAP and SCI security requirements across multiple classified contracts. Support compliance with DoDM 5205.07, NISPOM, ICDs, and related directives. Participate in security inspections, audits, and self-assessments. Manage and track personnel security actions, including visit requests, indoctrinations, debriefings, and access management using DISS, JADE, and Scattered Castles. Provide logistical support for security briefings, debriefings, and annual training requirements. Review and assemble SAP Nomination Packages (SAPNPs) and other access documentation. Assist in foreign travel reporting, visitor control, and document control processes. Support the development and maintenance of Fixed Facility Checklists (FFCs) and other physical security documentation. Gain exposure to COMSEC accountability, safeguarding, and reporting requirements. Occasionally support our Columbia, MD site at limited capacity, as needed. Qualifications You Must Have Active Top Secret clearance. Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience or, in absence of a degree, 6 years of related experience. Demonstrated discretion handling sensitive information. Demonstrated interest in developing a career in national security and industrial security programs. Qualifications We Prefer Master's degree in Business Management, Security and/or Risk Management, Government Policy, Information Management, Criminal Justice, or other related field of study. Top Secret/SCI with CI Poly. Completed related training and/or certification with CDSE (ex. Work Location This is an onsite role, eligible candidates must reside or relocate within commuting distance of our Arlington, VA office. Please consider the following role type definition as you apply for this role: Onsite: Employees who are working in onsite roles will work primarily onsite (4+ days/week). Relocation Assistance Eligible: Yes The salary range for this role is $72,000 - $144,000. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
