Job Title: QA Engineer (Data Pipeline Test Automation)
Location: 100% Remote
Duration: 6-12+ Months
Experience Skill Matrix: QA Engineer: Years Data Pipeline Test Automation: Years (Like: ETL or ELT or Data lake, data warehouse etc) Wrote SQL queries for data verification: Years (PWC will do short online coding test) Wrote Python queries for data verification: Years (PWC will do short online coding test) Test Automation framework: Years Agile environment: Years Scripting languages: Years Functional, regression, and integration standpoint: Years Programming in Python: Years Programming in SQL: Years
Job Description: The QA Automation Specialist will be responsible for:
Building and enhancing the test automation framework Having a strong understanding of QA best practices in an agile environment Creating and executing tests utilizing testing tools and other open source and commercial tools Having experience in programming/scripting languages as noted Collaborate with a cross-functional team of business analysts, developers, testers, and project managers to contribute toward the creation of an automated testing framework. Expand the functionality of existing testing frameworks and working on building new a new automated testing framework. Test various aspects of assigned software from a functional, regression, and integration standpoint Programming in Python, PySpark, Pandas, and Spark SQL Validate data is redshift and in S3 (in Parquet and S3 format)
