As a Senior Business System Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining complex payments, Ledger, and Reporting applications that drive B2B Ecommerce projects. You will have the opportunity to lead the payments integration and reporting Product Management team. The project requires experience in Fintech, Finance, Ledger, Accounting, Retail POS solutions, B2B, E-Commerce, Payments, Integrated Banking, and related domains. Experience working in a startup environment is a significant plus. Responsibilities
Requirements Gathering:
Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their financial needs within the E-commerce project and document detailed requirements for financial systems. Financial Analysis:
Analyze existing financial systems, identify improvement areas, and conduct feasibility studies for proposed changes. System Design:
Work with developers and architects to design compliant financial systems aligned with project goals. Financial Modeling:
Develop models, forecasts, and projections to support decision-making and provide insights on revenue and expenses. Third Party Integrations:
Partner with QuickBooks, Flex Pay, Grail Pay, and finance teams to understand ledger flows and suggest solutions aligned with business strategies. Implementation:
Oversee financial system integration with the E-commerce platform, ensuring data accuracy. Testing & Quality Assurance:
Develop test plans, conduct testing, and resolve issues. Documentation:
Create documentation and train end-users. Continuous Improvement:
Stay updated on industry trends and enhance financial systems for efficiency. Compliance & Security:
Ensure adherence to standards and regulations. Cross-functional Collaboration:
Work with finance, IT, and operations teams to align financial systems with project goals. Qualifications
Bachelors degree or 3 years of experience in Finance/Accounting 3+ years as a Financial Systems Analyst and project manager in a startup or cloud-based environment Experience with ERP finance modules (GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Revenue Recognition, Costing, Budgets) Experience supporting Financial SaaS applications Ability to document processes improving performance and efficiency Experience leading organizational change in finance tech projects Knowledge of Agile methodologies and story mapping Effective communication skills for remote teams and stakeholders Experience in Agile/Scrum environments is a plus Contributions to open-source, blogging, or certifications are a bonus Additional Details
