JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
This position supports the New England team by managing the financial and operational functions of multiple residential communities. Responsibilities include rent collection, invoice processing, financial reporting, account reconciliation, and using property management systems to track and report financial activity. The candidate must be based in the Greater Boston area and willing to travel throughout Massachusetts to support properties as needed.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Complete daily financial transactions such as collecting and posting rent, fees, and other payments, preparing bank deposits, reconciling bank accounts, generating financial reports, and processing invoices and payables.
Operate property management software (Yardi / OneSite), ensuring accurate data entry, updates, and backups to maintain system integrity.
Review resident files and accounting records to identify unpaid or late fees, communicate with residents about balances, implement collection procedures, and enforce lease terms to maximize revenue.
Review and submit vendor, contractor, and service provider invoices for payment, ensuring proper reconciliation, approval, coding, and communication with relevant parties.
Follow established procedures for evictions, including proper notices, court representation, and legal compliance.
Manage resident move-outs by reviewing lease terms, applying applicable fees, and processing dispositions according to legal and company procedures.
Enhance resident satisfaction and retention by responding promptly to complaints, questions, and requests, and resolving service issues effectively.
Serve as on-site supervisor in the absence of the community manager by organizing daily tasks, coordinating maintenance, and managing community operations per company policies.
Assist in managing owner relationships through meetings, community tours, performance updates, and responding to owner requests.
Physical Demands
Stand, walk, sit for extended periods, and perform physical tasks such as bending, stooping, climbing ladders, reaching, carrying objects, and crawling in confined spaces.
Work outdoors and indoors in all weather conditions.
Push, pull, lift, carry weights up to 25 pounds independently and up to 50 pounds with assistance.
Travel as needed to support other properties, attend training, or participate in meetings.
Work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
The hourly rate for this position is $36 - $38.
Additional Compensation
Factors such as business needs, experience, skills, and location influence pay within the range.
Corporate roles may include quarterly or annual bonuses based on performance.
Onsite property roles may be eligible for weekly, monthly, or quarterly bonuses.
