.NET Analyst with Linux/UNIX administration, SQL and Oracle
1 day ago Be among the first 25 applicants Job Summary (.NET Analyst With Linux/UNIX, SQL, And Oracle) Location: Onsite Berkeley, Oakland, Richmond or San Jose, California - local Perform SQL Server/Oracle database administrative tasks across multiple environments. Develop and maintain applications using Microsoft .NET technologies (ASP.NET, ADO.NET). Manage and support multiple projects concurrently, meeting tight deadlines. Document existing solutions, identify urgent upgrade/fix needs, and implement resolutions. Assist development teams with design, development, performance tuning, and SQL best practices. Write SQL queries, stored procedures, ETLs; manage ETL processes and data architecture. Perform hands-on programming with SQL Server/Oracle; support Linux/UNIX programming and shell scripting. Complete all phases of the software development life cycle (analysis, design, functionality, testing, support). Design, develop, and maintain small to large scale relational databases. Demonstrate expertise in Transact SQL, MS SQL, MySQL, and related database tools (SSRS, SSIS). Develop and maintain documentation and user guides. Communicate effectively with developers, business users, and project managers. Python development and AI experience are considered a plus. Project management skills and experience with web application/database integration are desirable. Qualifications 7–10 years of hands-on relevant experience. 5–8 years in backend software design (SQL Server, SQL/T-SQL, stored procedures). Strong knowledge of Microsoft .NET technologies (ASP.NET, ADO.NET, C#, VB.NET, ASP.NET MVC/Core). Proficiency in languages: C#, VB.NET, SQL/T-SQL, JavaScript/DHTML, VBScript, HTML, XML, Python. Experience with Windows and Linux/UNIX environments (shell scripting). Familiarity with user/authentication management, performance tuning, linked servers, ETL, SSRS, SSIS. Experience with DB2 is a plus. AI experience is a plus. Seniority level
