The omission of specific statements of duties does not exclude them from the position if work is similar, related or a logical assignment to the position. *Creates a classroom environment that is conducive to learning and appropriate to the maturity and interest of the students. *Encourages students to set and maintain standards of classroom behavior and work ethic when working on special projects. *Guides the learning process toward the achievement of curriculum goals and in harmony with the goalsestablishes clear objectives for all lessons, units, projects and the like to communicate these objectives to students. *Ensures accuracy and best practices for compliance of organizational standards. *Keeps records and prepares progress reports. *Keeps current in discipline and teaching techniques. *Participates in professional development and remains current in the field. Teaches district approved curriculum; prepares lesson plans accordingly. *Meets and instructs assigned classes in the locations and at the times designated. *Plans a program of study that meets the individual needs, interests and abilities of the students. *Any other relative teaching duties as assigned.
