We are seeking a dedicated Machine Operator, often referred to as a 'CNC Button Pusher', to join our dynamic team. This role requires the ability to perform basic math skills and handle inspection micrometers efficiently. The selected individual will be responsible for loading and unloading parts from pre-programmed machines, with robotics conducting all movements. You will alternate between grinding and CNC machines. Responsibilities: Operate CNC and grinding machines. Load and unload parts from pre-programmed machines. Utilize inspection micrometers for quality assurance. Perform basic mathematical calculations as needed. Work collaboratively with robotics to ensure smooth operations. Essential Skills: Basic math skills. Proficiency in using inspection micrometers. Experience in machine operating. Additional Skills & Qualifications: 1-2 years of experience in a similar role. Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment. Willingness to train on the first shift and work the second shift from 2:30 PM to 10:30 PM. Why Work Here? The role is designed for entry-level candidates with training provided on the first shift, transitioning to the second shift from 2:30 PM to 10:30 PM. Job Type & Location: This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Torrance, California. Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $20.00/hr.
