Senior IT Auditor
to join our Internal Audit team. This role will be responsible for evaluating the design and effectiveness of internal controls over information systems, cybersecurity, data integrity, and technology-related processes. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge, audit experience, and the ability to communicate complex issues clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: Plan, execute, and lead IT audits, including general IT controls, application controls, cybersecurity, cloud computing, and data privacy. Evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls and risk management processes in accordance with industry standards (e.g., COBIT, NIST, ISO, SOX). Review system implementations and upgrades to ensure appropriate governance and security controls are in place. Partner with business and IT teams to assess the impact of emerging risks, new technologies, and evolving compliance requirements. Develop audit programs, prepare workpapers, and document findings in accordance with internal audit methodologies and professional standards. Prepare clear, concise audit reports with actionable recommendations and present findings to senior management. Monitor and validate the remediation of identified issues and control deficiencies. Support external audit requirements and coordinate with external auditors on IT audit matters. Stay current on IT trends, regulatory changes, and best practices to proactively identify risk areas and opportunities for improvement. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Accounting, or related field. 3–6 years of relevant IT audit, internal audit, or IT risk management experience. Professional certifications preferred (e.g., CISA, CISSP, CIA, CPA). Strong understanding of IT general controls, cybersecurity frameworks, and regulatory compliance (e.g., SOX, GDPR, HIPAA). Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle), cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure), and data analytics tools. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and written/verbal communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently or in a team environment. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a publicly traded or regulated environment. Exposure to cybersecurity audits, cloud architecture reviews, or data privacy assessments. Proficiency in audit and GRC tools (e.g., ACL, TeamMate, Archer, ServiceNow). Seniority level
