Position Overview
We are seeking a qualified Windows Server Administrator for an in-person role at Apexon in Lansing, MI. This is a 12+ months contract position with a hybrid work arrangement, requiring in-person interviews.
Responsibilities
- Install and configure systems and application components on Windows and Linux environments.
- Gather and document requirements, research, present options, analyze, and recommend solutions for application changes and new projects.
- Manage Windows Server (2016 and later), RHEL 7.0+, Cloud Infrastructure (Azure/AWS/GCP), Tomcat, IIS, MS SQL Management Studio, Dynatrace, XML, PowerShell, Azure DevOps, Visio, SSO (SAML, OAuth, OpenID), and network components including LAN/WAN, firewalls, and architecture.
- Monitor and support Windows and Linux operating systems, networks, firewalls, and security vulnerabilities.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Windows Server administration and Linux environments.
- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP).
- Strong analytical skills and knowledge of network and security architecture.
